Switchboards and manufacturing

TECS is a specialist manufacturer of custom switchboards and switchgear and control assemblies (SCAs), supplying the electrical contracting industry throughout Australia. We design and construct every kind of SCA, from small PLC control panels up to fully type-tested 7100 A Form 4 assemblies. All SCAs are built to Australian Standards AS 61439.1 and AS 3000.

All design, drafting and manufacture is carried out in our Wagga Wagga factory. We can liaise with supply authority engineering departments on your behalf and provide drawings to the supply authority before manufacture.

Our custom-built SCAs are individually designed to meet your requirements for power switchboards, motor control centres (MCCs), distribution boards and control panels.

We offer high-density MCCs as well as standard arrangements in a single mix-and-match design, fitting up to 20 drives in the space where most competitors can fit only eight or nine.

Our type-tested busbar system is also easy to modify should requirements change on site. The twin busbar system optimises current ratings and can be installed at any height within the arrangement.
